A Partnership Built on Service
Eric Taylor married his wife, Terrie, in 2011. Sharing a strong commitment to public service, Terrie has dedicated more than 25 years to working with children and adolescents. She currently serves as a School Social Worker in the Conrad Weiser School District and has been a member of the Wyomissing Area School Board since 2016. This year, Terrie proudly holds the position of School Board President.
Life as a Family
Eric and Terrie are proud parents to two wonderful children. Their daughter, Saoirse, born in 2013, has a love for animals and enjoys horseback riding. Their son, Deaglan, born in 2015, has participated in numerous sports, including flag football, wrestling, basketball, and soccer—many of which Eric has had the joy of coaching. Together, the family lives in West Reading with their dog, CoCo, and their cat, Willow.
Faith and Community
Faith is an important part of the Taylor family’s life. They are active members of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Parish in West Reading. It holds special significance as the place where Eric and Terrie were married and where their children, Saoirse and Deaglan, were baptized.
A Legacy of Service
Eric’s family history reflects a deep tradition of service. His parents met during jury duty, a fitting origin story for someone who would go on to pursue a legal career. Both Eric’s father and Terrie’s father are military veterans. Terrie’s father served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Eric’s father’s distinguished military career includes six years of active duty in the Marines, where he was stationed in Japan, eight years in the Air Force Reserves (including activation during the 1963 Cuban Missile Crisis), and 12 years in the Army Reserve.
Cherishing Family Bonds
The Taylor Family’s shared values of service, faith, and community create a strong foundation for their life together. Whether supporting each other’s professional endeavors, coaching youth sports, or giving back to their community, they continue to build a legacy rooted in dedication and love.
